Exactly. I’d like to think I learned something, even if it took me twenty years to learn the lesson.

…ow I mishandled a situation. Making a “bad” decision is one thing but being rude about it is worse. But unless you are being a dick on purpose, these are mistakes you made and learned from. They were in some sense, necessary.
Maybe it would be better to say, “Everything happens as it must.”
